Which Speakers do I need?

Speaker selection is important to the sound and health of your radio!

Speaker selection is very important for your radio. The wrong speaker may not only sound bad but could actually damage your radio! Below you will find a selection of the ABSOLUTE BEST reproduction and replacement speakers we have found. These are the same speakers we use when testing your radio after service- After hundreds of hours of use on many different radios, our test speakers still sound great! If its listed here, its a quality piece- PERIOD!

Speaker Impedance Rating

In addition to correct SIZE speaker, you also need to select the proper IMPEDANCE. Impedance- Rated in "Ohms"- is a rating of how a speaker restricts the electricity flowing into it while producing sound. If you pick a speaker with an impedance value that has Too High of an impedance rating, you will never get the high volume sound out of your radio it is capable of. This will not damage the radio. However, If you pick a speaker that has Too LOW of an impedance rating, the radio will play loud.. And will overheat. Overheating could cause the radio internally to become damaged, or could even cause a fire! Not a good Situation!

Dont worry- If you are worried about finding the correct speaker, Send us an email and we can help you determine what is best for your car.
