Finally the Backlog is cleared! After years of struggling with a long backlog, I have finally cleared the backlog. I will be taking some much needed time off and will resume new orders in October 2025. A new order form will be added back to the site in late September.
Payment Options! Online payments will continue to be the preferred method of payment. An invoice will be sent to you after the radio is recieved and you can pay online by credit card or paypal. For my customers who need/prefer to pay by check, Please WAIT until the invoice is received to send payment- This will eliminate errors in ammount requiring additional payment or refund.
Turn around time I will be maintaining the 12 week turn around time target. With the backlog cleared, I will be keeping a close eye on open orders and adjusting incoming orders as needed. 12 weeks is expected to be the latest the radio will be ready but is expected 99% of radios will be out before this. Keeping the 12 week target will ensure enough time for all radios including custom builds and parts delays. There will be NO RUSH ORDERS and NO LINE JUMPERS!!!
Are you closing the shop? Absolutely Not! I have cleared the backlog and am taking some time for myself before getting back to work. Until October I am still available by email and will be in the shop making some repairs to equipment.
Important Warranty Info!
Warranty returns If you have received your radio and are having issues with it, I will accept Warranty repair radios at any time- contact me as normal and we can discuss the issue and if it needs to be sent in, I will get it reviewed immediately, Notify you of the issue found and make the needed repairs to get it back to you.
Out-of-Warranty returns If your radio is outside of the Warranty period and needs to be sent in for review, I ask that you hold the radio until October when I am taking in new orders.

Having an issue with your radio or have a question? Please feel free to email me at any time- I am happy to provide support to make sure you get the most out of your new radio.
Radio Not Working? Getting your radio back and finding it doesnt work correctly is frustrating. Please contact me and we can go over some checks/tests. If that doesnt solve the issue and the radio needs to come back for review, warranty radios get first spot on the bench and are often returned in the same week. 99% of warranty issues are caused by connection issues, speaker issues or shipping damage.
But I had my radio installed by a professional! I understand you may have had your radio installed by a local restoration or audio shop, but this shouldnt rule out connection issues. I am happy to provide support to the shop to verify the radio before having it sent back.
I stand behind my work! I perform the most in depth testing of my completed radios of any shop in this business. That being true, radios can still fail- shipping damage, failed parts and any number of one-of-a-kind things can happen to the radio which cause issues. This is why I provide a warranty. Now I understand it can be frustrating to have issues with your radio, but this is no reason to be rude or threatening. Simply email me to inform what issue you are having and we can discuss things to check and if needed, how to return the radio for repair. Warranty radios get first spot in the bench and are usually shipped back out within the week.
